Nag Champa is a perfume initially stated in the Hindu and Buddhist monasteries of India and Nepal. It is typically created from a sandalwood base, to that are added many different flower natural oils including that from the flower of this Champac tree. Each monastery had a unique formula that is secret is revealed to no-one outside the order. The sacred tree belongs to the magnolia family, its flower is yellow and star shaped, and as well as being the source of the perfume, it also gives a dye that is yellow. Frequently planted in temple grounds, the lumber is employed in making sacred pictures, drums etc. Nag Champa is an unique flowery scent with musky overtones and it is now one of many earth’s top selling incense scents. Nag Champa incense sticks can be bought by fat, each box that is inner 15g of incense, about 14 sticks at 20cm very long that ordinarily burn for over an hour or so each.
